My work explores my lifelong passions, Pop Culture and fashion. Based on them I create portraits of inspiring individuals from the past and present that played important roles in this life. Artists that influenced me are Andy Warhol and Alex Katz. My process involves a different number of technics such as picture manipulation, drawing, painting, collage, gold leafing and diamond dusting.

 

 

While I use a variety of materials in each project, my methodology is consistent. During research and production, new areas of interest arise and lead to the next work. The time spent creating these complex pieces captivates me as each step of the process reveals a new phase of the work, making me wonder how it's going to look like after the next step until the end.
