The Language of Art
Gary Chapman's famous model of the five love languages (words of affirmation, quality time, gifts, acts of service, physical touch) officially includes only five categories.
However, in recent years, several experts, psychologists, and authors have proposed a sixth love language to complement or modernize the original framework.
At Vallée Contemporary Art, we believe that there is a language of love that culture lovers instinctively recognize: the language of art.We believe that art is a message of love in its own right. A work of art can capture a memory, an emotion, a deep sensitivity. It is a moment of contemplation, an aesthetic coup de cœur, an emotion that resonates within.
A work of art can transform a space and become a symbol of connection, with oneself or with a loved one.For February, we offer works selected for their gentleness, sensitivity, or visual intensity. We invite you to discover these works, and the entire Vallée Contemporary Art collection, by visiting our website or by visiting us in person at the gallery.
Let art speak to you... and perhaps even reveal your sixth language of love. -
